Foundation Directors David Day and Elizabeth Chan met with the Deputy Chief of Mission for the Philippine Embassy in Washington, D.C., to discuss the GRMF comprehensive approach to risk mitigation and risk management.
The Deputy Chief of Mission for the Philippine Embassy in Washington, DC, also hosted GRMF's Chairman David Day and CEO Dr. Elizabeth Chan along with a team from the Embassy. The embassy team included senior officers from the Economic and Political sections along with the Military Attache. The focus of the discussion was on the Marawi situation and the Foundation’s present work with the Philippine Red Cross and additional options to utilize GRMF’s considerable capabilities in the Philippines.
