Timely for the 72nd anniversary of the landing of the U.S. Marines on Iwo Jima during WWII, the Marine Corps University Press has released the English version of a new book entitled, “Iwo Jima and the Bonin Islands in U.S. – Japan Relations” by Dr. Robert D. Eldridge, a Risk Mitigation Advisor. This book is a major work on the Bonin islands that has been nearly a decade in its development.
