Prof. Gershaneck is on the Board of Advisors for GRMF and is also the Distinguished Visiting Professor at Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy, a Senior Research Associate at Thammasat University Faculty of Law German Southeast Asia Center of Excellence for Public Policy and Good Governance, and a Senior Associate at Pacific Forum CSIS
