Logistics Mitigation

Logistics Mitigation ensures that there are no barriers to movement of goods and services. Logistics Mitigation works together with the other Risk Mitigation organizations to assess and provide recommendations addressing the following areas:

  • Supply and warehouse capacity

  • Maintenance capacity

  • Transportation capacity

  • Port and airfield capacity

  • Rail, road, and bridge capacity

  • Distribution systems

  • Logistics workforce capacity

  • Logistics strike risk

  • Contracting and procurement risks (coordinated with Legal)

  • Logistics accountability (coordinated with Third Rail)

  • Logistics support technology needs

  • Disaster mitigation for logistics nodes (coordinated with Disaster)

  • Power sources

  • Current commercial capacity

  • Waste management
