Financial Mitigation works to ensure that appropriate fiscal management structures are in place. This area of Risk Mitigation focuses on assessment of the following areas:

• Fiscal management/reporting systems and practices

• Financial Regulations & restrictions (coordinated w/Legal)

• Economic & Fiscal Risk Indicator tracking procedures

• Fiscal/Auditing ethics and governance considerations (coordinated w/Legal, Third Rail)

• Financial fraud and abuse (coordinated w/Legal and Third Rail)

• Financial management systems (coordinated with Legal and Third Rail)

• Capacity and experience of fiscal/accounting teams (coordinated with Education)

• Political/Economic risk (coordinated with Third Rail)

• Security and repayment issues (coordinated with legal)

• Solvency assessment
